Unfortunately they were all priced above $23k. Still, they look fantastic.

That can’t possibly be a real yenko could it?

No idea, I don't know much about yenkos, :/.

$23k for a ‘78
Ranchero
?

Yeah, I was about to make that same point. Nice, but only $23k nice in some very odd land of delusion.

That was the only one that didn't have a price tag, but I can only assume since everything was overpriced there.

That’s a ‘68 or a ‘69 Nova, so if it’s a Yenko Nova, it’d have the L-72, 427 CID engine. (I learnt all of this just now on Wiki...)

Then there’s the reality check of a costumer with a checkbook...

With the emissions-choked 302... I’ve never been a Ford man, but the late 70s had some really hideous Fords. Like the ‘78 Thunderbird...

If I had to have a Ranchero with a frame under it for safety and utility, it would preferably be the ‘72. Ugly, but with panache.
Choice of Ranchero for performance would be a ‘70 GT (which actually can be a nearly $20k vehicle).
The ‘78 would be only if I was in the mood for something with a bed and a nice plush Thunderbird interior.

I love both these gens you have here, specifically because it shared a body with the Torino which I absolutely love.

I would never dare spend that much on a car, ever.

The ‘70 was available with the 429 Cobra Jet, had the hidden headlight option, and being the last generation of unibody was fast like a Mustang with a big block. The ‘72 being the first year of the body-on-frame Torino platform could haul some serious loads and predates most of the emissions farce. Both would be great to own.

Better off not worrying about a bed and buying the Torino or a MONTEGO. Only 2500 bucks for mine, screw paying 23,000

That is exactly what I told MrsZtp on the way home, that I knew “MontegoMan got his car for far less.” Still, it’s nice to see these cars in one piece, even if it’s overpriced.
Still love the Torino and Montego though.

Putting it lightly:
FUCK NO

Myriad of reasons why it’s not real: First of which is that it’s orange, and the colors Yenko offered were red, blue, and two greens. Badge is too low, cowl hood was not offered from what I remember, etc etc.
Biggest thing is that there are very few of them around and owners know what they’ve got. Good examples go for around a half million.

There’s a Montego Wagon in kind of rough shape in canton, I don’t know if it’s for sale but if it is it wouldn’t be more than 2 grand. I’ve been wanting to steal the hood scoop off it lol
